John (Skip) H. Aldridge, Jr.
With a specialty in professional development, Dr. John (Skip) Aldridge, Jr. assists clients in a
variety of consulting roles, including pre-hire and development assessments, job competency and
skill set identification, and succession planning.
For example, he works closely with executive management to provide counsel in managing their
organization’s talent and its effect on the company’s succession planning.
As a former human resource professional for a large manufacturer, Dr. Aldridge also provides counsel
through the process of defining skill sets and competencies, which are critical factors in identifying
and developing the appropriate individual for the job.
Using such tools as, WAI’s proprietary model, Personal Development Process©, Dr.
Aldridge challenges and supports individuals in the workplace to be outstanding performers. In
support of this, he coaches individuals throughout all levels of the organization, from supervisors
to senior management.
Other tools Dr. Aldridge utilizes for assessments include: face-to-face interviews, personality
and ability tests, 360° evaluations, and executive coaching.
In addition to these consulting activities, Dr. Aldridge has created corporate training programs and
a fully automated, human resource system for a multi-billion dollar company.
He has also applied his consulting expertise by co-authoring such guides as,

and The Salesperson Development Report©.
Dr. Aldridge has consulted in most Western European countries, China (Hong Kong and Mainland),
Australia, and New Zealand. He holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational
Psychology, along with a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership. He is a licensed psychologist, who brings
over 15 years of human resource experience, to his role at WAI.
