David G. Watterson, Jr.
Dr. David G. Watterson, Jr. has over 25 years of experience in corporate consulting with large, public organizations, as well as mid-sized and privately held companies. Dr. Watterson has counseled both domestic and multinational companies on the latest human resource issues ranging from pre-placement assessment to succession planning.
As counsel to executive management for such companies as, Swagelok, Invacare, Dow Chemical, and Areva, Dr. Watterson advises corporate leaders on a variety of human resource subjects to improve bottom-line performance and business outcomes.

Through his vast experience, Dr. Watterson has focused on the entire development process for individuals, teams, and organizations. He has been the behavioral coach to athletes, executives, managers, salespeople, and supervisors for organizations ranging from the manufacturing to service industries.
Using a variety of instruments to drive the process, Dr. Watterson is skilled in motivating individuals
to clarify their vision, assess current resources, design learning steps, focus on action, and commit to
results.
For example, Dr. Watterson has interviewed and interpreted psychological personality assessments for
more than 15,000 individuals and is a recognized, international authority on the use of psychological
personality assessments. In fact, his expertise with personality assessments is applied worldwide.
Dr. Watterson’s other accomplishments include the creation of software assessment systems for selection
and development and his considerable background with international executive assignments
in Europe, Asia, South America, and Australia.
A native of Cleveland, Dr. Watterson holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. He received a B.A. in Sociology from Colby College in Maine and he is a licensed psychologist in the states of Ohio and Illinois. He is a 30-year member of the American Psychological Association and he is a member of Division 13 Consulting Psychology, Division 14 Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and Division 47 Exercise and Sport Psychology.
